Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the trade sector, including distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify areas of growth and formulate effective sales strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and supply chain to align trade marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing plans, including promotional campaigns, trade shows, product launches, and sales incentives.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
Provide regular reports and updates on trade channel activities, sales performance, and market insights to senior management.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and trade regulations to proactively adapt strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Train and educate the sales team and channel partners on product features, benefits, and sales techniques to drive sales effectiveness.
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, track ROI, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Proven5 + years experience in project & retail (B2B)
In-depth knowledge of the trade sector, including distribution networks, retail operations, and wholesale channels.
Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.
Ready for travel 50% to 60% to meet with clients & attend trade shows & industry events.
Should be able to communicate in English & Arabic
