Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join the EMEIA team in the role of Brand Ambassador, The Macallan based in Dubai. The Macallan Brand Ambassador’s role is to engage and build strategic partnerships with top influencer groups, consumers and media, by bringing The Macallan “world” to life in their key city. They are required to inspire, educate, and recruit these audiences with unique and impactful experiences. As a secondary focus, The Macallan Brand Ambassador supports major brand initiatives, and helps deliver targeted portfolio performance and trade education in priority accounts.

Job Description

The role will involve extensive event hosting and some potential travel to Scotland to liaise with the distillery teams & host key influencer visits. It is vital that The Macallan Brand Ambassador embodies the essence of the brand in both appearance, behaviour and delivery of key brand messages.

The Brand Ambassador is the face of The Macallan brand in Dubai (working alongside the Regional Brand Education Manager (BEM)) and responsible for the education and engagement of consumers, influencer groups, media and internal/external stakeholders including local strategic partner. They will help to drive an increase in The Macallan’s ‘salience’, as measured by established tracking tools.

Skills And Experience

Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with extensive experience working within the luxury category and alcohol brand(s) and their clientele. The successful candidate will be socially connected with influenced communities in key markets and be an inspiring public speaker with strong presentation skills. You will be a natural networker who ideally has a passion for whisky. Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the UAE is essential.
