About The Role
We are sourcing an Associate Recruiter to join our team early 2023.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring GEMS schools all are fully staffed with proficient, qualified teachers. You will manage the full cycle of the recruitment plan from advertising vacancies and shortlisting candidates to closing successful hires and ensuring the best possible candidate experience throughout the process.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver on the recruitment of all vacancies as per the operating model in assigned schools or clusters.
Screen and interview prospective candidates and assess their suitability for the role through face to face, online or phone interviews.
Long list and shortlist applicants to make recommendations to the next stage as per the process (e.g. Principal / Senior Leadership Team).
Develop quality relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process from initial contact, through interview and on boarding processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience at all times.
Maintain external pipeline of candidates for short/medium/long term opportunities, with a focus on hard to fill roles.
Implement employer branding initiatives and marketing campaigns to promote GEMS Education as an employer of choice for teachers globally.
Effectively utilise ATS to ensure all candidates are tracked through each stage of the recruitment process.
Maintain regular reporting and performance measures against metrics to share when required.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Expected Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Expected Experience:
Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience is essential, with some experience of agency recruitment preferred
Experience of working in the Education sector and/ or with bulk recruitment would be an advantage, although not essential
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Strong communication skills.
Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
Experience of working with challenging targets in a KPI driven environment.
Literate in all basic computer and HRMIS skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
