We are on a mission to grow our business in the Middle East region and are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Middle East Area Sales Manager to join our team.

The Opportunity:
The Middle East – Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of ADB Safegate’s business in the assigned territory in the Middle East region. This includes anticipating customer needs, searching for new sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Middle East Area Sales Manager will play a critical role in developing and overseeing major accounts in the territory, acting as the lead point of contact, researching new customers and growth areas, devising complex sales strategies, establishing a sustained sales pipeline, and building strong business relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve Sales Objectives: Drive the achievement of sales objectives for the Middle East territory.
Build Business Network: Develop an effective business network within the airport ecosystem in the region.
Anticipate Customer Needs: Identify and anticipate customer needs, translating them into tangible sales opportunities.
Key Account Management: Implement a key account management approach for selected customers.
Pipeline Management: Create and manage a realistic opportunity pipeline, converting leads into orders.
Business Planning: Develop solid business plans tailored to various business segments in key countries.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with execution teams and supporting business functions to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Competitive Strategy: Understand the competitive landscape and define winning strategies for project and product business.
Business Partner Engagement: Stimulate business partners to work in synergy with ADB Safegate teams for enhanced performance and results.
Long-Term Account Strategy: Develop a long-term account strategy to become the technology partner of airports in the region.
Entrepreneurial Approach: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude with drive and creativity, contributing to continuous and sustainable growth.
Business Skills required to make an impact:
Business Status Reporting: You’re adept at tracking orders and revenue, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
CRM Proficiency: You excel in using CRM systems to streamline sales processes and effectively manage customer relationships.
Contract Negotiation Skills: Your ability to negotiate contracts is unparalleled, and you collaborate seamlessly with legal and finance teams to secure favorable agreements.
Tendering Rules: You have a deep understanding of both public and private tendering rules, making you a valuable asset in complex procurement environments.
Requried Experience:
International Sales Expert: With 5-10 years of successful experience in international B2B sales, you thrive in dynamic and challenging environments.
Aviation Industry Savvy: Your expertise in the aviation industry and airport ecosystem is proven, making you a trusted advisor to clients seeking innovative solutions.
Market Research Pro: You’re proficient in researching, identifying, and cultivating new business opportunities, even in challenging markets.
Interpersonal Dynamo: Your robust interpersonal skills enable you to engage effortlessly with C-level executives and nurture long-lasting customer relationships.
Technical and Analytical: You have the technical and analytical skills to understand and explain high-end solutions developed by ADB Safegate.
Effective Communicator: You convey information clearly in verbal and written correspondence, ensuring effective communication with clients and colleagues.
Middle East Knowledge: While not mandatory, knowledge of the Middle East region is considered an advantage.
Education/Certifications:
Masters Degree: Masters in engineering/technology or Business Administration, preferably both, which enhances your strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Languages:
Arabic Speaking: Fluency in Arabic is a must.
Fluent English: You communicate fluently in English.
Additional Languages: Proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
