Agro Commodities Trader – Fertilizer Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

– Network and travel to countries outside of UAE as assigned to generate business in UAE, North and West Africa.

– Proactively solicit new enquiries from existing portfolio.

– Develop and maintain a portfolio of end user clients.

– Prepare monthly reports and provide and effective recap of previous year performance and review the same.

– Develop and implement an operational plan for reservation and provide forecast to executive management.

– Design various innovative marketing strategies to increase sales for all product launches.

– Maintain all activities related to product marketing and provide support to sales and establish effective marketing communication.

– Develop and maintain good professional relationships with producers/suppliers of raw materials whilst building out a customer list/trading book.

Job Requirements:

– Minimum 5 years’ experience in Agro Commodity, Fertilizer, Sulphur, Ammonia, Urea products trading in the international market.

– Portfolio of transferable relationships in the outlined commodities.

– Must have experience in vessel chartering/logistics management and LC (letter of credit) payments in the fertilizer space.

– Excellent leadership skills with strong ability to build a team.

– Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.

– Experience in sales of fertilisers, such as Sulphur, rock phosphate Urea, DAP, MOP, and SSP.

– Well versed with Trade Terminology and sales contract.
