Overview

Element has opportunity for (a Mandarin speaking) Accounts Executive to join our growing team in Dubai

This is a great opportunity to develop your accountancy career within a Global TIC business and in this role you will be handling accounting responsibilities for multiple business units in varied geographical locations

This position will be based in Barsha Heights , TECOM , Dubai , UAE

Responsibilities
Review and posting of accruals & prepayments
Review, challenge & posting of finance manager journals
Processing of purchase invoices and supplier payments
Review month end / bank reconciliations
Inter-company accounting for group companies
Provide support to Finance Manager, on statutory reporting as required
Provide monthly reporting and analysis to sector businesses and labs as required

Skills / Qualifications
Degree or professional qualification in accounting would be preferred while candidates qualified by experience will be considered
2-3 years of experience of working in a similar position ,with effective teamworking and communication skills,able to challenge and question accounting treatments
Good systems and accounting experience essential and Navision / Cognos experience desirable (although training will be provided)
Procative self-starter, confident in their own ability and accounting knowledge having attention to detail , along with a positive, can-do attitude
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin(Reading & Writing) mandatory for the role
