Accountant Accounts Receivable (AR) Full Time

About the job
Our client, a large automotive industry in Dubai, is looking for Accountant Account Receivable for the Dubai location. As Accountant your primary role is to provide financial and analytical support by verifying invoices, monitoring expenses, verifying payments, reconciling bank statements and providing detailed trial balance analysis.

Other Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To
Reviewing suppliers’ payment requests and submitting them to the banking portal for management’s approval.
Reviewing and recording freight invoices to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Analyzing research & development, customer-wise freight outbound expense, and other income details on a monthly basis.
Reviewing and approving supplier invoices related to OPEX and prepayments.
Processing advance payments and reconciling supplier advances on a regular basis.
Recording monthly accruals and provisions to ensure completeness.
Monthly A/R reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
Preparing and reviewing trial balance analysis with Finance Manager on a monthly basis.
Preparing bank reconciliations on a monthly basis, arranging reviews and approvals.
Creating BPVs in the system against each payment request.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience: 1-2 years (s) of relevant experience in generating AR invoices, receipt bookings, customer reconciliation, and preparing AR reports.

Training & Certifications: Certified Management Accountant (CMA) / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Accountant (CA) / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
Attention to accuracy and detail required.
Work Location – Dubai, UAE.
