Accountant NEW

As an Accountant, you will be an integral part of our accounting team, handling diverse financial activities and ensuring regulatory compliance. As part of our team in Dubai, you’ll be collaborating closely with other business functions to support the company’s growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of all financial records
• Utilize Odoo ERP system for all accounting processes and data management
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations
• Process employee reimbursement claims and assist with payroll as needed
• Collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders during annual audits

Must have requirements

• Proven accounting experience in the UAE
• Hands-on experience working with Odoo or a comparable ERP system
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills

Nice to have requirements

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA
• Experience working in a fast-paced SME or multinational environment
• Knowledge of additional ERP or accounting software solutions
