Civil Engineer (Roads, Infrastructure, Bridges)

Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team! In this role this role you will get to assist the Resident Engineer in design review and construction related to structural works of the project.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist and deputize for the Resident Engineer (RE) as required, ensuring seamless project oversight.
• Ensure construction and operations & maintenance (O&M) work align with the Contract Documents, meeting the required standards.
• Actively participate in contract administration and related activities.
• Review and evaluate Contractor’s submissions, providing clear feedback.
• Offer on-site guidance and issue site instructions to ensure work proceeds according to the plan.
• Supervise the site inspection team, ensuring thorough and effective inspections.
• Perform regular checks and measurements of completed work to confirm accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards and practices on-site.
• Oversee the quality control of materials and workmanship to maintain high standards.
• Track and record project progress against the established program, identifying any discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed progress reports to keep stakeholders informed on project status.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of as-built drawings and documentation

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC
• Be fully computer literate and proficient in using technology to access data, maintain records, and generate reports.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrate strong technical writing abilities.
