The Opportunity
We are looking for a Regional Strategic Account Manager IMETA (India, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa) for Animal Health poultry business, who will be responsible for growing and managing business relationships with strategic key customers including achieving sales budget, executing sales and market plans and leading the account planning process for customers. Key tasks for this position include working closely with the IMETA poultry team to deliver excellence in customer support and drive long term revenue and profitability growth with strategic and key account customers in collaboration with IMETA team.
This position is based at Dubai and reports to the Business Segment Head Poultry IMETA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with IMETA management, poultry leadership and local Key Account Managers to achieve financial targets
Provide support to Key Account customer business plans in cooperation with the poultry team to identify customer needs and propose solutions to create win-win situations
Ensure and assess compliance of strategic account manager teams and perform market/customer analysis
Ensure regular review on activities of key accounts through active monitoring, management and forecasting
Build network with key account management and establish regular communication and sharing of best practice with relevant stakeholders
Provide support and suggestions as first line contact to facilitate escalation of customer demands and potential negotiations
Identify key points for mutual growth opportunities in the business and ensure customer activities and interactions are in line with compliance guidelines, local regulations and best practices as applicable
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary medicine or Agricultural Engineering
Master’s degree in Business Administration is a plus
Previous experience in Key Account Management with poultry accounts
5 years of experience in sales and marketing with proven track record of achieving targets and execution of strategy
Previous experience within the region, primarily Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, India, South Africa and/or Pakistan is a must
Proficiency in English, in its written and oral form is a must
Proficiency in Arabic is preferred
Effective communication with ability to build and maintain relationships
Analytical skills and strategic thinking
Capable of organizing, planning, and prioritizing workload
