Job Description

Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to contribute to our kitchen’s success and delight our guests with exceptional cuisine.

• Assist the Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations for your assigned section
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to our restaurant’s standards and recipes
• Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes
• Contribute creative ideas for menu development and improvement
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary role
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on food quality and presentation
• In-depth understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Creative approach to food preparation and presentation
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Culinary diploma or relevant certification (preferred)
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary trends and techniques
